Freedom III - 34"x 24"

Found object sculpture, made with collage of the Cairo Daily news print, oil, wood, carved plaster,  found copper also carved, piano hammers. This piece is  made as a bridge of our cultures Arab and American post 9/11.  The art has 3 rivets that were discarted near the Kelly Drive bridge,in Philadelphia, when it was being rebuilt. I used them as a symbol of UNITY and strength as Philadelphia is the city of FREEDOM and LOVE. The repetitive design and carving is from Morrocco. Freedom lll has been exhibited in Algeria and Oman at the American Embassies.
